International Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness.

Each year, Australians to show their support by participating in International Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness.

School is challenging for all kids, but for a child with epilepsy, just getting through the school day can be a struggle. Not only do seizures impact a child’s education, but the side effects of anti-seizure medication include fatigue and behaviour changes.

This year we are asking our students and staff to show their support for the 250,000 Australians living with epilepsy. Here’s how you can get involved: dress in purple this Tuesday 26th of March. Whether it be a purple outfit or hairdo, be creative and get behind the ‘Make March Purple’ campaign!
