NHW welcomed senior students from Wangaratta District Specialist School (WDSS) for a tour of some of our services. The students enjoyed witnessing the hustle and bustle of the inner workings of a hospital environment including behind the scenes in our kitchens where some 840 meals are prepared across our services for patients and staff each day, our supply and linen departments, and demos of some of the equipment that helps us to manage a venue of our size more efficiently – like our electronic mops. The tour was organised for the students to help them learn about options for work experience and even future potential careers in our region. Thanks WDSS for joining us!
